City to Improve Road Damage in N. Jakarta

To prevent casualties, North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub- Department starts the emergency repair of 78 damaged roads in 6 sub-districts in North Jakarta this week.

We will hold emergency repair to prevent accident and congestion at the area by applying hotmix at the damaged road

Some of 78 roads are located on Jalan Enggano, Yos Sudarso, RE Martadinata Lodan, Pegangsaan Dua, Boulevard Raya Kelapa Gading, Boulevard Barat, Boulevard Timur, Tipar Cakung, and Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing. Some of the holes have diameter around 10 to 20 centimeters.

"We will hold emergency repair to prevent accident and congestion at the area by applying hotmix at the damaged road," said Warsito, Head of North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept., Thursday (2/5).

6 Months, Jl Hasyim Ashari Not Yet Improved

Warsito added, the road damage appeares due to 70 percent of the area is often inundated. To solve the problem, city will improve 800,000 square meters at the area.

"We only do emergency repair for now, and for permanent reparation, we still do inventory," told Warsito.
