Approaching Imlek, Flower Bazaar will Be Opened in Rawa Belong

There will be 22 stands. Yet its amount is predicted to increase

Welcoming the Chinese New Year (Imlek), the Rawa Belong Technical Management Unit (UPT) is going to open a sedap malam flower bazaar in Rawa Belong Market, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, which falls on February 17-18, 2015. 

Head of Rawa Belong UPT, Magdalena disclosed as many as 22 stands will participate in such annual event. It is held to commemorate the Imlek.

"There will be 22 stands. Yet its amount is predicted to increase," she told, Monday (2/16).

Soson (32), one of bazaar participants admitted the bazaar in Rawa Belong Market predicts the event will be crowded by visitors. This is because the interest of the residents to celebrate the Imlek is increasing every year.

"Last year, my earning was Rp 5 million per day. This year I predict it would increase," he expressed.

According to him, the flower price is varied, ranging from Rp 500 thousand per bundle for garut's sedap malam (tuberose) flower and ambarawa's sedap malam Rp 70-80 thousand per bundle.
