3,000 Participants Enliven Run the City in GBK City Forest

Around 3,000 participants enlivened the Run the City event held by the Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS) at Gelora Bung Karno City Forest, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Gelora Urban Village, Tanah Abang Sub-district, Central Jakarta, Saturday (7/1) morning.

LIt aims to exercise to introduce LPS to the community

LPS Commissioner Council Chairperson, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa expressed the Run the City is a series of LPS Monas Half Marathon 2023 which will be held for two days, precisely on July 1-2 which presents two competition categories, namely 5K and half marathon.

"Today, the 5K fun run competition is a series of activities from the LPS Monas Half Marathon," he expressed.

According to him, the participants in today's activity were attended by 3,000 participants consisting of general public, professional runners, and LPS employees. As planned before, similar activities will be carried out routinely every year. It was the result of collaboration between LPS and Kompas Daily and supported by Jakarta Provincial Government.

"It aims to exercise to introduce LPS to the community. Because, in a state of the economic banking system like this, the LPS has only one goal, namely to ensure that the public knows that the LPS exists," he stated.
