Sidewalks of West Outer Ring Road in Rawa Buaya Repaired

The West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency repairs the sidewalks of the West Outer Ring Road in Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district. Repairs were made on the road from Rawa Buaya to Puri Kembangan or right in front of a Sundanese restaurant.

We also tidy up the kanstine block which functions as a barrier

Road and Bridge Division Head, Khairul Imam said repairs to the sidewalk, which is 2.5 meters wide would be executed for 20 meters. The repairs were conducted by nine West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency personnel.

"Work has started since Wednesday (7/26) and is estimated to be completed in three days," he expressed, Thursday (7/27).

Locals Appreciate Sidewalk Cleanup Action in Central Jakarta

According to him, the sidewalk repairs followed up on reports from the public who complained about the presence of wavy sidewalks and that many of the paving blocks were missing.

"Repairs are carried out by dismantling all paving blocks and reassembling with new paving blocks. We also tidy up the kanstine block which functions as a barrier," he explained.

By doing so, pedestrians would feel safer and more comfortable when crossing the sidewalk.

"That way, the area also becomes tidier and more beautiful," he stated.
