Waterways Draining on Jalan EE Cengkareng Barat Keeps Being Accelerated

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is draining the waterways at Jalan EE, RT 02, 09 and 10, RW 04, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.
It is targeted to be completed in one month ahead
Cengkareng Sub-districy SDA Executing Unit Head, Jhon Tarigan said the draining is carried out up to 500 meters long. They have a width of 60 centimeters and a depth of 80 centimeters.
"It is done to follow up on residents' aspirations through the 2022 Musrenbang forum," he expressed, Monday (8/14).
Petamburan V Connecting Channel on Jalan Administtasi LAN CleanedIt had been carried out since three weeks ago and involved 12 personnel.
By doing so, it could accomodate water in large quantities in the rainy season.
"The work progress has touched 50 percent. It is targeted to be completed in one month ahead," he stressed.
The work itself received appreciation from a resident, Armien (51).
"Hopefully, it will be able to minimize flooding when it rains," he hoped.
