The revised APBD allocation discussed has been adjusted to reduce by around Rp 1.68 trillion

The total allocation for the Revised APBD 2023 adjusted through a series of Commission D working meetings with SKPD in the development sector was around Rp 1.68 trillion.

Commission D Chairman, Mahmudah stated the council had completed a working meeting to discuss adjustments to the budget allocation, which was originally set at almost Rp 15 trillion, adjusted to more than Rp 13 trillion in the Revised APBD.

Legislative Approves KUA PPAS 2024 by Rp 81.58 Trillion

"The revised APBD allocation discussed has been adjusted to reduce by around Rp 1.68 trillion. The decline was quite large because most of the land acquisition plans were removed apart from the land acquisition plan on the Ciliwung River," she expressed, Monday (9/18).

She explained adjustments were also made to several work programs which had originally been determined in the APBD 2023, but were removed during the discussion of changes.

The revised budget allocation amounting to Rp 13 trillion is prioritized for handling floods, waste and handling air pollution, and other community needs.

"It is true that the current conditions are hot, but it is worried that December 2023 will enter the rainy season, so one of the council's priorities in discussing revised APBD includes repairing channels in residential areas," she explained.

Then the Commission D also proposed revitalizing the Marunda Flats, North Jakarta in the APBD 2024.

"While, residents in Block C of Marunda Flats have been moved to Nagrak Flats and it is ensured that all needs are met, including school buses and business needs through the provision of tents in collaboration with the PPKUKM Agency," she explained.

He added the council had also set a budget for roof repairs at the Sukapura Flats in the revised APBD.

"The budget allocation for repairing the roof of the Sukapura Flats has been included in the Revised APBD due to the council's concerns about entering the rainy season at the end of 2023. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon," he stated.
