18 Drainage Tanks on Pari Islands Repaired

The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing drainage tanks at RT 03/04, Pari Island, South Seribu Islands.

Hendri, Sub-agency Head of Seribu Islands SDA, the drainage tank was repaired to support regional planning. It was also made to the infiltration well.

He explained the repaired control tank had a size of 50x50 centimeters and the infiltration well had a size of 100x100 centimeters. Its repair involved eight personnel using manual tools plus cement, sand, and

Hendri menjelaskan, bak kontrol yang diperbaiki tersebut memiliki ukuran 50x50 sentimeter dan sumur resapan berukuran 100x100 sentimeter. Dalam perbaikan ini, pihaknya mengerahkan delapan personel dibekali peralatan manual berikut material semen, pasir dan split stone.

"It has been ongoing since October 20 and is targeted to be completed tomorrow," he explained.

Pari Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Adriansyah believes it can prevent flooding during the rainy season. Aside that, it is also part of supporting preparations for the Adipura assessment in the region.

"I appreciate this because they are not only carrying out repairs but also draining," he stated.
