Transjakarta, Paljaya Signs Agreements on Waste Management

PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta) and Perumda Paljaya are collaborating on wastewater treatment in buildings managed by Transjakarta.

This collaboration is outlined in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Transjakarta Main Director, Welfizon Yuza and Perumda Paljaya Main Director, Aris Supriyanto at Tosari Transjakarta Bus Stop, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/25).

According to him, this collaboration is an effort to improve services and comfort for the community.

"Through this cooperation, waste products found in Transjakarta buildings at stops, depots, and head offices will be assisted by Perumda Paljaya," he expressed, Thursday (10/26).

He revealed that a Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL) would be built and operated in the Transjakarta building. There would also be a Feasibility Study (FS).

Perumda Paljaya President Director, Aris Supriyanto added that Transjakarta had provided services and facilities, therefore waste processing was important.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), we thank Transjakarta for inviting Paljaya to support its waste management," he uttered.
