BPBD: Inundation in Jakarta Receded Fully

Jakarta Regional Disaster Management (BPBD) mentioned that all inundation occurred in Jakarta have receded totally on Monday (1/8) at 11 AM.

Jakarta BPBD's Implementer Head, Isnawa Adji, said the inundation was caused by heavy rain on Saturday (1/6) and Sunday (1/7). Several rivers also overflowed.

"The inundation receded in stages up to 11 AM. As reported, all inundation have totally receded," he said, Monday (1/8).

Personnel Speed Up Inundation Handling in West Jakarta

According to him, the good cooperation done by local units such as BPBD, Water Resources Agency, Fire Handling Agency, Bina Marga Agency, Environment Agency, Satpol PP and Urban Village PPSU, have reached better result in handling the inundation.

"We also cooperated with RT/RW, FKDM, and society figures," he added.

He continued that BPBD appeals the resident to remain alert with inundation potential.
