The Rembuk RW meeting, which is to collect aspirations in a bid to smoothen programs and policies according to residents' priority needs continues to be held in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district, Seribu Islands.

Focus on the priority needs of residents

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim said the Rembuk RW meeting was already taking place in RW 01, 02, and RW 03 from January 9 to 11, 2024. It would continue for RW 04 and 05.

"In the meeting, there is a companion, thus the proposals submitted can focus on the priority needs of residents," he expressed, Thursday (1/11).

According to him, it is a stage of the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) process.

"It aims to collect all proposals from residents through RT administrators, community leaders, and religious leaders. These proposals will be continued and discussed at the sub-district level Musrenbang, which is planned to be held in early February," he explained.

One of the RW Assistant Staff, Kinam uttered the three RWs prioritized the construction of tourism facilities and infrastructure, the construction of a new western pier, and equipment for the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu).

"We've discussed and sorted input from residents. We hope that this proposal can be approved during the Musrenbang later," he hoped.

RW 01 Chairman, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Sapriudin uttered the Rembuk RW meeting took up proposals for the need to deepen the western anchorage pool and pier, TPS 3R, BWRO in RW 01, additional TPU locations on Panjang Island, improvements to protocol roads, and health equipment at Posyandu.

"Residents hope that the suggestions and proposals submitted can be approved because they are a necessity," he stressed.
