Dishub: Personnel must Be More Humane and Persuasive during Raids

Jakarta Transportation Agency Deputy Head, Syafrudin, instructed his personnel in the field, especially towing personnel, to implement persuasive humanist principles.

According to him, the challenges as a communications person increase with changing times. Personnel in the field were faced with people with various characters and very dynamic conditions. Not infrequently, they come into conflict with drivers when carrying out actions. Therefore, he wanted them to easily get emotional because of trivial matters.

"Of course, it requires self-control and good communication skills in handling the case with a cool head even though the field conditions are very hot," he expressed, when he opened Training on the Use and Operation of Special Field Vehicles for Cranes for the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Friday (1/12).

He added the Jakarta Government is actively implementing the development of safe, secure, and smooth transportation. In the context of urban traffic, the problem of parking violations is not trivial and continues to grow as the economic activity of people in Greater Jakarta increases.

Nevertheless, Dishub continues to try to pay attention to improving the handling of parking violations.

“Parking violations not only disrupt the smooth flow of traffic but have the potential to cause inconvenience and even accidents. This is a challenge, also a lesson for us to always apply persuasive humanist principles when taking action," he closed.
