Jakarta Bina Marga Agency will install 1,075 smart LED street light this year. The installation will be applied on artery roads or collector.
It will be built together with sidewalks in April 2024
Agency Head, Heru Suwondo, said the installation will be adjusted with newly constructed sidewalk this year such as Jalan Rasuna Said on the west side, Jalan MT Haryono on the north side and Jalan Taman Jati Baru.
According to him, the street light that will be built will be supported by 10 meter high poles with a distance between poles of 30 meters and a light power of 120 watts.

The street lights will be built with three types; one branch, two branches, and carrying pole. It means the light will illuminate the road and sidewalk.
The street light design uses balang tooth ornaments which convey local wisdom according to the area where the light is located. He added, apart from saving more energy, the street light will support the aesthetics of the city.
