Residents, Happy with Children's Playground Facilities in Kota Bambu Selatan

Residents living in RW 06, Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta feel grateful and happy with the existence of children's playground facilities available on Jalan Kota Bambu Selatan V.

This facility has been open since three days ago

Fitri (28), a local resident admitted she now doesn't need to worry anymore, as her children can play safely and comfortably in the children's playground facilities.

"Honestly, so far, due to limited land, there is minimal playground space for children. As a result, children often play on roads that are busy with vehicles. This situation makes us as parents worry. But, now, we feel relieved because a play area has been provided for children," she expressed, Tuesday (1/23).

She explained the play facilities available in the children's playground area included swings, seesaws, and slides. Since it opened three days ago, the playground has always been busy with visitors.

Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village Head, Sahono admitted that with the condition of the area being densely populated and densely populated, his party has been looking for empty land for a long time to use as a special safe and comfortable children's playground area.

As a result, since two months ago, using a 5x5-meter-plot of land behind the SKKT Building, Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village, a children's playground area was finally created. Previously, irresponsible parties often used this land to place carts belonging to street vendors.

"This facility has been open since three days ago. It was realized in collaboration between the urban village and CSR PT PLN. It is to facilitate children to play more safely and comfortably," he stated.
