Selfie Alley in Ciracas Beautified

Four personnel PPSU together with local residents beautify mural on a wall called selfie alley on Jalan Komplek Polri RT 08/04, Ciracas, East Jakarta.

Ciracas Urban Village Head, Sudarna, said the 200 meter x 2.5 meter wall was already painted with mural. But it needs to be painted again since the paint is already fading.

"The area will be also rearranged to attract more people taking photograph here," he said, Wednesday (1/24).

RW 04 Ciracas Head, Supriyadi, added the area will also be completed with vertical garden and decorated plants.

As for the first stage, the iron frame for the vertical garden is already prepared on the alley.

"Vertical garden makin is targeted to complete this week. Now we're still preparing the pots and wire mesh on the wall. PPSU personnel also repaint the mural," he added.

If the vertical garden is already installed, he continued, his side will also equipped it with decorated lamp to get exotic nuance in the evening.

"The area arrangement is aimed to give comfort for local resident," he continued.

Anggi (24), one of local residents, admitted the view on the alley is attracting people. People can take selfie with different background in the wall.

"The wall has many different pictures. It attracts us much," he stated.
