Inundation Survivors in East Jakarta Receive Logistical Aids

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Acting Head, Abdul Salam said the aid given was packaged rice meals and groceries. It was focused on eight urban villages affected with inundation yesterday afternoon until night.
He detailed that the Dukuh Urban Village area, the aids given consisted of five boxes of biscuits, 30 boxes of mineral water, and 750 boxes of packaged rice meals.

Then 260 kilograms of ricr, 25 boxes of instant noodle, seven bottles of sweet soy sauce, 12 boxes of cooking oil, and 25 boxes of mineral water, including additional 3,025 boxes of packaged rice meals and mineral water.
"Today, we distributed 1,000 boxes of packaged rice meals to Kramat Jati Urban Village, according to the request submitted by the urban village," he explained, Thursday (2/1).
East Jakarta PMI Public Relations and Communication Head, Agus Bastian added that to help meet the residents' needs affected by yesterday's inundation, his party had distributed aids with 400 boxes of packaged rice meals in Makasar Urban Village and 950 packs of bread for Rawa Teratai Urban Village.
"We also distributed 750 loaves of bread to residents affected by inundation on Jalan Dukuh V, RT 07/02 yesterday," he expressed.
Kramat Jati Urban Village Head, Karman explained packaged rice meal was still needed today, as survivors in RT 03, 04, and 16/RW 11 were not yet able to carry out activities.
This afternoon, his party together with related officers would hold a cleanup action to clean up waste and mud left over from puddles in the neighborhood and residents' houses.
"All aid has been distributed through the Disaster Preparedness Urban Village team," he concluded.
