Cheap Basic Food Market Held in Cipinang Besar Selatan

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, directly visited cheap basic food market held at Cipinang Besar Selatan Urban Village Office, Jatinegara, Tuesday (2/6).

The package is usually sold Rp 140,000 in the market

Anwar also served the residents who already have white coupon to buy the package which consisted five kilograms of rice, two liters of cooking oil, one kilogram flour and one kilogram sugar.

1,000 Cheap Basic Food Packages Sold in Kramat Jati

The program is initiated by Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, through cooperation between Jakarta Provincial Government and PT Suri Nusantara Jaya. The package is sold Rp 100,000.

"The package is usually sold Rp 140,000 in the market," he said.

According to him, similar program will be held again in different location. Previously, the program was held at Pulogadung Urban Village Office, Makasar Sub-district, Ciracas Urban Village, Penggilingan Urban Village and Kramat Jati Sub-district.

Meanwhile, Rounah (53), one of local residents, admitted local RT caretaker informed her about the program. Then she directly requested the coupon to buy the package in the market.

"The program is helping us much. Hopefully it will be held again," she admitted.
