19 Fire Trucks Extinguish Fire in Kamal

West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire burned three buildings on Jalan Prepedan Dalam, Gang Batok, RT 04/09, Kamal Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district, Thursday (2/8) morning.

Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Syarifudin, admitted his side received fire report at 7:21 AM.
His side deployed 19 fire trucks with 95 personnel to extinguish the fire.

According to him, the extinguishing took long since there were many flammable materials such as wood and plastic.
"Fire also burned two trucks on the location," he continued.
He stated that there is no victim in the incident. The fire is allegedly caused by short circuit.
Meanwhile, one of the witnesses, Iqbal Mustafa (51), explained those three buildings were empty of people since today is holiday.
"There was no workers inside the building," he explained.
