"The new route of Jakarta - Kinabalu is inline with Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry to reach 14.3 million of foreign tourists this year or 68 percent higher than last year target by 8.5 million tourists," he explained.
According to him, the first flight of AirAsia's Jakarta - Kinabalu from Soekarno Hatta Airport (CGK) to Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) has been starting since February 6, 2024.
"It is also hoped to strengthen good cooperative relations for the growth of tourism, economy and culture of the two countries," he hoped.
