1,300 East Jakarta Environment Personnel Ready to Handle Post Flood Waste

As many as 1,300 East Jakarta Environment Unit Personnel are ready to handle post flood. They will be equipped with 300 garbage trucks.

There are 300 trucks and ready to operate

East Jakarta Environment Sub-agency Head, Eko Gumelar, said those 300 garbage trucks condition are ready to give the best service.

"There are 300 trucks and ready to operate after the flood to clean the waste," he said, Thursday (2/22).

He explained that the garbage is collected in one place before being transported to Bantar Gebang Dumpsite, Bekasi, West Java.

"Our personnel are also ready to assist the handling after the flood," he added.

This readiness is appreciated by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar. He appealed the personnel to give the best service for residents in handling the cleanliness.

"I give my appreciation for the personnel. They have extraordinary spirit to serve our environment," Anwar stated.
