She added that personnel started the dredging from Gang 28 up to Gang 29 along 30 meters.
"Channel's width is three meters and height is 130 centimeters," she added.
There are nine personnel deployed to dredge the channel by using manual tools.
"The dredging has been started since end of February and is targeted to complete this month," she added.
Meanwhile, one of RT 11/01 residents, Munasir (56), appreciated the dredging run by the personnel.
"The mud is too thick and disturbed the water flow. It is hoped the newly dredged channel will eliminate inundation during rain," he hoped
