The Central Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency (Nakertransgi) socializes the distribution of 3-kg LPG gas and requirements for appointing agents and bases. Hopefully, its the distribution will be right on target.

Central Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Head, Sudrajat said the 3-kg LPG gas was specifically for underprivileged residents, but the facts on the ground were that many economically capable residents still bought this LPG.

"Socialization aims to ensure distribution is right on target. It should be for underprivileged people. But people who can afford it still buy 3-kg LPG gas," he said, Wednesday (3/6).

He explained his party invited stakeholders, urban village, and sub-district officials. Hopefully, they could provide guidance to agents or bases in the area not to sell gas to people who can afford it.

Later on, a rule would be enforced for people who wanted to buy 3-kg LPG gas to show their NIK.

"The implementation will be implemented in stages," he added.

Central Jakarta National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association Regional Coordinator, Yuswandi hoped that the support from urban village and sub-district parties would socialize this plan. By so, he believed the reach of information to the public would be wider.

"This information will of course also be positive for agents and retailers so they don't need to explain much to consumers," he stated.
