Ciracas Sub-district Head Appeals Resident to Prevent Dengue Fever

Ciracas Sub-district Head, Yus Wil Rasyid invites residents to become self-Larvae Monitoring Officer in order to decline dengue fever cases.

He said that rainy season triggers puddles that can be breeding place for mosquitos.

Residents Urged to Be Aware of Dengue and Apply PSN 3M Plus

"Self-Larvae Monitoring Officer surely will optimize the effort of declining dengue fever," he said, Thursday (3/7).

He also requests residents to eradicate mosquito larvae through 3M (dredging, burying, and closing) action.

"We have to maximize our effort here in Ciracas Sub-district," he added.

Meanwhile, Ciracas Sub-district's Secretary, Abdul Khair, admitted the monitoring is intensified at prone to dengue fever areas such as RW 03 and RW 04, Kampung Rambutan Urban Village, RW 07, Ciracas Urban Village; and RW 01 Cibubur Urban Village.

Moreover, Ciracas Urban Village Head, Sudarna, explained there are 152 self-Larvae Monitoring Officer spread in 10 RWs with 142 RTs.

"They conduct eradication twice in a week," he stated.
