60 Personnel Sterilize Sidewalks of Jalan Percetakan Negara II

Some 60 joint personnel from Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, and Social Sub-agency assisted by the army (TNI) and police pushed sterilization of sidewalks on Jalan Percetakan Negara II, Johar Baru.

Central Jakarta Civil Servant Investigation Section and Satpol PP Operational Division Head, Ildan Adi Bayu expressed today's operation is a continuation of the Sidewalk Orderly Month activities in Johar Baru.

"Our target is street vendors (PKL), illegal buildings, and illegal parking stands atop the sidewalk," he expressed, Thursday (3/7).

As a result, personnel managed to control two stalls, one cart, 16 plastic crates, five chairs, three wooden benches, four tables, and wire shelves.

"Hope it can give a deterrent effect," he hoped.

Operation Handling Division Head, Haryo Bagus added the operation involved five personnel to crack down on illegal parking.

"We deflated ten motorbikes and cars' tires today," he stated.
