Electricity Short Circuit Causes Fire in Kota Bambu Utara

West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency successfully extinguished fire on Jalan Kota Bambu Raya, RT 13 and 14 RW 03 Bambu Utara Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, Sunday (3/17).

Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Syarifudin, explained the fire occurred at 2:30 AM. Fire burned 95 buildings; 75 semi permanent rented houses and 15 permanent houses at RT 14/03, and five permanent houses at RT 13/03.

"Personnel finally extinguished the fire at 6:23. There is no victim in this incident," he added.
Kota Bambu Utara Urban Village Governmental Section Head, Rizki, stated 63 families or 190 people lost their houses.
"Now they take refugee at BPBD tent and Al Ikhlasul Karim Mosque. Logistic aid has been also distributed from West Jakarta Social Sub-agency," he stated.
