To prevent various crimes such as prostitution, radicalism, and terrorism occurred in the capital, Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat asked all government officials from the sub-district until urban village heads to raise awareness of the environment respectively.

I've asked Mr. Governor to collect all RT, RW, urban village, and sub-district head to record the boarding house to prevent it to be used as prostitution place. Moreover, we also remind them to aware with terrorism

The extra supervision will be applied, especially for the boarding house because the boarding house is suspected as a place for prostitution. The plan, all sub-district or urban village heads will be asked to collect data of the number of boarding house in each region.

"I've asked Mr. Governor to collect all RT, RW, urban village, and sub-district head to record the boarding house to prevent it to be used as prostitution place. Moreover, we also remind them to aware with terrorism," told Djarot at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (4/16).

Djarot continued, he takes this action because he often receives short messages from the people who offer prostitution. Furthermore, the former Mayor of Blitar planned to hold unannounced inspection to the suspected locations.

"I am concerned, I received a lot of message that offers me sexy woman. But, I do not reply it," he explained.

According to him, if the rules of 1x24 hours the guest should report to the head of the local area is applied again, we could minimize the crimes. It because there is social control from the citizen. Unfortunately, the rule have never run again. "The rule of 1x24 hours the guest should report to RT or RW is good," he stressed.

The strict supervision of the boarding house is need after the death of Deudeuh Alfi Syahrin (26) who was murdered in her rented house in Tebet, South Jakarta. From this case, there known many of boarding house in Tebet area which also used as prostitution place.
