Area Arrangement on Jalan Mangga Besar II Reaches 90 Percent

Taman Sari Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta, is finishing the area management on Jalan Mangga Besar II, RW 02. The arrangement which being run near Beton River is now reaching 90 percent.

Next we'll plant decorated plants to green the area

Taman Sari Urban Village, Abdul Malik, said the arrangement is part of first quarter arrangement for January to March. The arrangement is run along 200 meters.

"This arrangement involves Water Resource Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, and Food Tenacity, Maritime and Fishery Sub-agency of West Jakarta," he said, Thursday (3/21).

He added that the first arrangement was to clean the land from rubbish and used items. Next, personnel arranged the existing protective trees and created a 30 centimeter high barrier and repaired the concrete pillars supporting the iron fence.

"Next we'll plant decorated plants to green the area," he added.

Arlan Sucipto (45), resident of RT 02/02, Taman Sari Urban Village, appreciated the arrangement of Jalan Mangga Besar II. Previously, the area was slum.

"We support the area arrangement here for better environment," he stated.
