Tree Pruning in West Jakarta Intensified

"People complained that the tree branches were shady and covered the light of public street lights at night. Apart from that, it also covers traffic signs in nearby locations," he said.

According to Toto, the pruning of these eight trees was done manually by climbing the trees. Because, its position is on the side of a protocol road and there are concerns that it could trigger traffic jams if using a ladder car.

"It involved seven personnel," he added.

Jonathan (32), one of road users, appreciated the tree pruning since the area quite dark due to shady trees.

"It is hoped the road will be brighter at night after this pruning," he hoped.
