4,026 Passengers Arrive at Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal

There were 4,026 passengers arrived at Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal since Saturday (4/13) up to Tuesday (4/16) morning by using 397 buses.

So far the transports are in good condition

Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal Head, Muzofar Surya Alam, said passengers started to arrive since three days after Eid and is predicted up to Wednesday (4/17).

"Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal was flocked by passengers since Saturday up to Sunday night. Today's morning was 178 passengers with 21 buses," he said, Tuesday (4/16).

In details, 1,385 passengers arrived by using 123 buses on April 13, 1,472 passengers with 136 buses on April 14, and 991 passengers with 117 buses on April 15.

"Mostly passengers came from Java. Then also from Madura and Sumatera," he added.

He appealed the Autobus Company to pick up and drop off passengers at determined bus terminals.

"Usually they drop passengers just before the terminal. It triggers traffic jam and endanger passengers," he continued.

According to him, his side together with City Police keep conducting ramp check for homecoming transports.

"So far the transports are in good condition. Health posts are also standby," he stated.
