Central Jakarta Satpol PP Controls 153 Banners

Central Jakarta Satpol PP personnel since Tuesday (4/16) to Thursday (4/18) have controlled 153 banners indicated break the regulation.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tumbur Parluhutan Purba, said the controlling was carried out at several locations in eight sub-districts.

According to him, the controlling targeted banners that endangered road users, disturbing the beauty of the city and violating the rules for placing banners.

"We deploy 40 personnel every day to control those banners," he said, Friday (4/19).

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Satpol PP's Civil Servant Investigation and Operational Section Head, Ildan Adi Bayu, explained there were 48 banners controlled on Tuesday (4/16), 57 banners on Wednesday (4/17), and 48 banners on Thursday (4/18).

"It is hoped the effort will beautify the city and give comfort for road users," he stated.
