25 MSMEs Participate Bazaar on Untung Jawa Island

There are 25 MSMEs participating bazaar at Milenial Park, Untung Jawa Island, Untung Jawa Urban Village, Seribu Selatan Sub-district, Seribu Island.

Seribu Island Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprise Section Head, Syamsul Hidayat, said the bazaar is held on April 24-25, 2024.

"This bazaar is an opportunity to improve the economy as well as a place to promote the businesses of residents in the Seribu Islands," he said, Wednesday (4/24).

He added that residents and tourists can buy various culinary, fashion and craft products at the bazaar which is open from 8 AM to 3 PM every day.

"We provide 13 tents. Various products are sold there such as Fish Crackers, Fish Meatballs, Breadfruit Chips, Fish Floss, Basreng, Cilok, and Anchovies," he added.

According to him, this bazaar is held every month in different six urban villages.

"The participants are under Seribu Island Regional Apparatus Organizations management," he continued.

This bazaar also provided products or staple food from Perumda Pasar Jaya.

"To further enliven this bazaar, we also held a karaoke competition and door prizes. Hopefully this activity will be able to encourage MSMEs to continue to develop and promote their products," he stated.

Meanwhile, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, Sidartawan, supports the program much. He hopes that through this bazaar, the local economy can continue to revive and stimulate business actors to increase their productivity.

"Residents flock the bazaar since morning. It was great to see their enthusiasm," he said.
