Jalan Kompas in Kembangan Utara Being Repaired

Residents living in RT 01/01, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, appreciated the repair of Jalan Kompas, which is in a damaged condition because it is often submerged in rainwater.

RT 01/01 Chairman, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Aji said Jalan Kompas is currently often flooded during heavy rain due to the overflow of the Angke River.

"Due to frequent flooding, the road asphalt becomes damaged, peeling, and wavy," he expressed, Monday (4/29).

Damaged Residential Road in Kalisari Repaired

According to him, the road repairs were conducted after his party and residents sent a letter to the Kembangan Sub-district Bina Marga Unit.

"Residents appreciate the improvements to Jalan Kompas, thus it can be crossed comfortably again," he explained.

Kembangan Sub-district Head, Joko Suparno explained the 4.5-meter-wide road repair was carried out along 20 meters with CSR funds from one of the companies domiciled in the area.

"It carried out with concrete pours 20 centimeters thick and are estimated to be completed this evening," he stated.
