Tens of street vendor at Terowongan Kendal, Jalan Blora, Menteng Urban Village and Jalan Tanjung Karang, Kebon Melati Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/6), were controlled by joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Police and Army.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Parluhutan Tumbur Purba, said the controlling was held since the street vendors existence disturbed the orderliness and triggered traffic jam in the morning and evening.

"The controlling involved 82 joint personnel," he said.
Central Jakarta Satpol PP Sub-agency's Civil Servants Investigation Section Head, Fitrano Jaya Putra Askari, admitted his side controlled two carts, one table and tent, 20 plastic chairs, five wooden benches, and stove.
"Hopefully this controlling will give deterrent effect for them," he admitted.
