Seven Parking Attendants in East Jakarta Get Coaching

Seven parking attendants who often operate in nine minimart outlets in East Jakarta were netted and received coaching from a joint team of the Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, Garrison, POM TNI, Police, Parking Technical Unit, Social Sub-agency, and other related elements, Wednesday (5/15).

Those nine outlets were Pulogadung, Matraman, Jatinegara, and Kramat Jati sub-districts.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Riki Erwinda said seven parking attendants were caught in the operation held by 60 personnel.

"They are illegal. They have no identification, uniforms, or permits," he expressed.

For this socialization stage, personnel only collected their data and gave coaching, and asked them to make a statement not to repeat their actions.

"If they ignore it, we will act decisively," he concluded.

East Jakarta Parking Executing Unit Head, Jeneral Damanik added the active data collection and coaching of illegal parking attendants was carried out persuasively and humanely following the instructions of the Acting Governor and Head of Jakarta Dishub.

"This is to create order, security, and comfort for residents," he stated.
