Seven New Water Channel in East Jakarta to Complete June

East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency is constructing new water channel at seven locations. First stage of construction has been started since March and to complete in next June.

Acting East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency, Abdul Rauf, said the construction is based on residents' request in Musrenbang 2023. Progress of each locations is different.

"Work progress varies because it is carried out at different times. We are targeting the initial stage of work to be completed by the end of May and next June," he said, Friday (5/17).

East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency's Development Section Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri, explained those seven locations are on Jalan Bulak Raya heading to Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Klender, Duren Sawit. The work started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on June 25. Now it reaches 71.36 percent.

Next are water channel at Gang H. Sarmili heading to Jalan Raya Bogor and Crossing Jalan Raya Bogor RT 05/06, Rambutan Urban Village. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on May 26. Now it reaches 43.14 percent.

Next is water channel on Jalan Kalisari III RW 10 (Jalan Menara heading to Jalan Pondok Sari Raya), Kalisari. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on June 25. Now it reaches 42.15 percent.

Then water channel on Jalan Kalisari III RW 10 (Jalan Pondok Sari Raya heading to Jalan Gongseng Raya) Kalisari. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on June 25. Now it reaches 37.47 percent. Also water channel on Jalan Gongseng (Jalan Yayasan heading to Jalan Bima I RW 007 and RW 001 Cijantung. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on May 26. Now it reaches 88.54 percent.

Next is water channel on Jalan Gongseng (Jalan Lapangan heading to connecting channel Gongseng, Cijantung. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to complete on May 26. Now it reaches 71.74 percent.

Also water channel on Jalan Gongseng (Jalan Bima I heading to Jalan Lapangan RW  007 and RW 001 Cijantung. It was started on March 28 and is targeted to June 25. Now it reaches 53.54 percent.
