Heru appreciated the performance of the Satpol PP and Satlinmas who carry out their duties well in maintaining peace, order and protecting the citizens of Jakarta.
"The success of all stages of the presidential, vice presidential and legislative elections which have taken place safely, orderly and peacefully is a manifestation of the hard work of Satpol PP together with all levels of election organizers, Army/Police, regional officials and elements of community organizations," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

He also asked Satpol PP and Satlinmas to continue to increase community involvement through various programs, so that Jakarta residents can be active in maintaining peace and order in the city.
Including from this month to June, Jakarta Provincial Government is controlling population administration. I hope that Satpol PP can also actively assist the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil). So that the public can carry out population administration, as mandated in the Law (UU) or Government Regulation (PP), as well as decisions of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).
All levels of Satpol PP and Satlinmas must understand the substance of the Law on the Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ) so that they can provide direction to the community in the context of transforming the City of Jakarta into a Global City.
Jakarta Satpol PP has made various efforts to protect the community, such as forming Peace and Public Order (Trantibum) Ambassadors at the school level, down to the RT and RW levels so that people care about the trantibum.
