South Jakarta DWP Plants Trees at Brigif Reservoir

South Jakarta Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) commemorated World Environment Day 2024 by planting trees at Brigif Reservoir, Jalan Aselih, Cipedak, Jagakarsa.

This activity also aims to strengthen relationship and increase knowledge

South Jakarta DWP Pertin Committee Chairwoman, Ela Syamsul Huda, said the planting was held inline with organization routine meeting.

50 Productive Trees Planted at South Jakarta Land Office

"This activity also aims to strengthen relationship and increase knowledge. Because there is socialization about waste sorting and fire prevention," she said, Monday (6/3).

Ela added there were 10 tabebuia trees planted at the reservoir. Her side also handed over eggplant seeds and fertilizer.

"For food tenacity, we also spread 10,000 seeds of fish," she added.

Her side also involved South Jakarta Environment Sub-agency to do socialization of waste sorting.

"It is hoped the socialization can be implemented by mothers at their daily living," she hoped.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Administration and Community Welfare Assistant, Sayid Ali, appreciated and thanked all side for participating in the event.

"I ask the people here to keep the reservoir clean. Because cleanliness is the responsibility of all of us," he stated.
