Jakarta Bina Marga Agency stated that Pinisi Pedestrian Bridge lift on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman can be operated normally now.

At this moment, both lifts on West side (Le Meridien Hotel) and East side (Mayapada Bank) are work normally.
"The lifts have been repaired and worked normally. Pedestrian now can use it safely," said Syamsul Bakhri, Jakarta Bina Marga Agency's City Facility and Utility Head, Friday (6/14).
Bina Marga Repair Pinisi Pedestrian Bridge's FloorSyamsul explained that the lifts were unable to operate due to broken spare part. The condition was later known after being surveyed.
"Based on checking the condition of the lift, it was found that several spare parts were damaged and needed to be replaced. We immediately replaced and repaired the lift and now it is functional again," he closed.
