Jakarta's 497th Anniversary Bazaar in E. Jakarta Wins MURI Record

The bazaar welcoming Jakarta's 497th anniversary held by the East Jakarta administration received an award from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI), Friday (6/14).

We want to introduce MSME products and encourage increased use of domestic products

The award certificate for the category with the most bazaar participants was handed over by MURI's Operations Director, Yusuf Ngadri, to East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar. There were 2,166 participants spread across 65 urban villages and 10 sub-districts taking part in the bazaar.

According to him, the high number of participants showed a real form of improvement in the people's economy in his region and a form of love for domestic products.

"We want to introduce MSME products and encourage increased use of domestic products (P3DN)," he expressed.

His party thanked all parties who had supported the bazaar in achieving the MURI record

MURI Operations Director, Yusuf Ngadri added the simultaneous bazaar initiated by the East Jakarta administration deserved a certificate of appreciation.

"We noted that it was the simultaneous bazaar with the highest number of participants," he closed.
