KJMU to Be Disbursed Lately Tomorrow!

Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin, KJMU is intended for people who really cannot afford it. He said that after going through the eligibility verification process for applicants, 15,649 KJMU recipients had been determined for Phase I in 2024.

"Education Agency will continue to monitor the regional expenditure budget so that its distribution is on target to realize the principles of justice for the people of Jakarta, Budi said, Wednesday (6/26).

He explained that the KJMU social assistance program collaborates with 124 universities from 45 provinces and 67 districts/cities. Currently there are 110 PTNs (State Universities) and 14 PTS (Private Universities) registered in the KJMU program.

Budi added that the distribution of KJMU is carried out very selectively by the Jakarta Provincial Government. Recipients will receive assistance of Rp 9,000,000 per semester from KJMU.

"KJMU recipients are citizens who really need it, but must also have a high learning ethos so they can achieve a better future," Budi added.

The amount of KJMU funds is Rp 9,000,000 per semester, used for two funding allocations for KJMU student needs, namely:

1. Costs for providing education managed by PTN or PTS as payment for the Single Tuition Fee (UKT)

2. Personal support costs are student living costs assistance which can be in the form of:

a. Book

b. Nutritious food

c. Transportation

d. Supplies/equipment and/or other personal support costs.
