West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency routinely pruning trees at the area. There were 4,491 trees have been pruned during January to June 2024.

We also handled 116 fallen trees during that period

West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Romy Sidharta, said the pruning was divided into three categories namely light, medium, and heavy. It was run in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta.

"The pruning was run as part of maintenance and to respond residents' request as anticipation of fallen tree," he said, Saturday (7/6).

He added that pruning is important since heavy rain and strong wind often occur lately.

According to him, pruning in January was run for 728 trees, February 751 trees, March 730 trees, April 740 trees, May 767 trees, and June 775 trees.

"We also handled 116 fallen trees during that period," he stated.
