Cipinang Besar Selatan TPU Fence Repainted

Some 10 personnel are seen repainting the fence in the Cipinang Besar Selatan (CBS) Public Cemetery (TPU) area or commonly called the Chinese Grave, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Wednesday (7/10).

It aims to beautify and rejuvenate the infrastructure of the TPU area

East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said the painting was carried out, as the condition of the fence looked dull, making it look shabby and unsightly.

"It aims to beautify and rejuvenate the infrastructure of the TPU area," he expressed.

Road Border on Jalan Raya Bogor Repainted

Besides painting the fence, his party also planted some ornamental plants and cleaned up weeds and trash in the cemetery area.

Green Belt and Cemetery Acting Head, Randi Putra added the total length of the repainted fence reached 1,000 meters with a height of 1.8 meters. The work started last Monday (7/8) and the target was to be completed by the end of July.

"Ornamental plants are also being planted in the Executing Unit office area. The type is Philo Kuning, Tekomastan, and Patah Tulang," he uttered.

As for the information, the CBS TPU area has a width of 16.02 hectares with a total of 14,689 grave plots.
