Jakarta Dharwa Wanita Persatuan (DWP) collaborated with Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency held Barista training at Flona 2024, Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/10).

We'll hold similar training for other DWP administrators in several areas

The training was participated by 30 administrators of DWP province level. They were given material in the form of introducing coffee beans to mixing and serving coffee.

Jakarta Dharwa Wanita Persatuan Advisor, Mirdiyanti Budi Hartono, appreciated this training since it gives chance for DWP administrators to open business.

"We'll hold similar training for other DWP administrators in several areas," she said.

Jakarta DWP Chairwoman, Endang Lestari Joko Agus, said the habit of drinking coffee becomes popular in all levels of society today, from old to young, men and women.

Endang added that for coffee drinkers, drinking coffee has become a unique ritual, they will really choose a delicious taste and a comfortable place to enjoy it. On that basis, her party took the initiative to provide barista training to the DWP management.

She hopes that participants can get complete information and dig deeper about coffee from the baristas in this training to then practice it in their respective homes, and even start a coffee business.

"We hope that by following this training, DWP administrators can immediately practice making coffee at home or can share their knowledge with friends and the local community," she hoped.
