Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin, said total recipients of KJP plus phase I funds are 533,649 students. There are two waves of KJP Plus phase I disbursement, the first wave is distributed to 460,143 recipients, while the second wave is 73,506 recipients.

Budi explained that the determination of recipients would always be evaluated and verified by involving a joint team from various relevant stakeholders such as the Population and Civil Registration Agency, Child Protection Empowerment and Population Control (PPAPP), the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), and the Social Service (Dinsos) of Jakarta Province.
"It is hoped KJP Plus social assistance is able to increase human resource quality in Jakarta," he stated.
