As much as tens of thousands of personnel will be prepared to secure the commemoration of May Day, which falls on Friday (5/1). It aims to anticipate unwanted things during May Day.

"We will prepare 18,307 police personnel to guard the May Day," said Acting Head of Public Relation Division for City Police, Sr. Comr. Budi Widjanarko, Monday (4/27). 

According to Widjanarko, those personnel are joint personnel from City Police, Resort Police, assisted by National Police Headquarter, and city administration. "They are consisting of 6.504 personnel of City Police, 7,085 personnel of Resort Police, 1,957 personnel of National Police Headquarter, 2,520 personnel of Army, and also 601 personnel of City Administration," he told. 

In accordance with City Police's record, it is predicted there would be 75 thousands demonstrators participate in May Day. "Most are from Greater Jakarta," he expressed.

Nevertheless, he continued, they will not gather in one point, but in Indonesia Hotel (HI) Roundabout. "HI Roundabout will be the central point," he uttered.
