Several Routes Not Operating, Transjakarta Sends More Fleets to Serve Mikrotrans Customers

PT Transjakarta reported that 65 out of the 94 Mikrotrans routes are still operating normally. Yet, they apologized to customers for the non-operation of 29 service routes due to the initiative of microtrans operators.

Hence, they added fleets to facilitate Transjakarta customers, especially in areas experiencing adjustments to Mikrotrans services.

"This is our anticipate to add more fleets so that services remain normal. Integration of Transjakarta services by paying attention to the interests of the community," expressed Transjakarta Operational and Safety Director, Daud Joseph, Tuesday (7/30).

He explained customers can still do their activities with Transjakarta services, both BRT, non-BRT, and microtrans routes that are operating. Operators who remain committed to the service are Wahana Kalpika Cooperative (KWK), Air Force Cooperative Center (Puskopau), Budi Luhur Cooperative, and Purimas Jaya Cooperative.

This condition is a reaction to the implementation and enforcement of Transjakarta regulations on good corporate governance.

Then several operators who falsified documents were subject to strict action by Transjakarta by stopping their operations because they did not comply with applicable laws and regulations.

"Aside that, the cost per kilometer is determined transparently and follows the costs incurred. Operators also get a fair profit from the cost per kilometer determination," he added.

He added that enforcing the rules was to ensure that services to the public were maintained properly.

"Transjakarta respects laws and regulations and enforces them," he asserted.
