Hundreds of Indonesian Flag to Be Disbursed in Rawa Barat Urban Village

Ahead of Indonesia's 79th Independence Day, hundreds of Indonesian flag will be distributed to residents of Rawa Barat Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta.

Rawa Barat Urban Village Secretary, Winny Afriani, said the flag distribution is to respond Regional Secretary Instruction No 44/2024 about Red and White Flag Distribution Movement.
"Now we have distributed 100 flags through RT and RW administrators for residents," she said.
Winny added the flag distribution has been started since July 25, 2024. It will be carried out again to enliven the independent day.
"There will be 80 flags to be distributed next week for elderly, Dasa Wisma, Jumantik, or residents who need it," she added.
Meanwhile, RT 04/02 Head of Rawa Barat Urban Village, Mursyad, appreciated the flag distribution in his area.
"Residents were very happy to be given free flags. Hopefully this will further foster a sense of nationalism," he stated.
