Jakarta Provincial Government, through its Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, cooperates with Association of Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants (HIPPINDO) to provide Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, and SME Expo (JITEX) 2024.

to empower MSME to develop and compete in global market

Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, said JITEX 2024 is an international trade exhibition to promote superior products in Jakarta and also facilitates the promotion of superior product showcases from several other provinces.

Her side always support MSME to develop and go to global market.

"We try to empower MSME to develop and compete in global market through our Jakarta Entrepreneur (Jakpreneur). Jakpreneur gives facilities to ease MSME known as 7 Steps to Success (7 PAS). The program is not only facilitated by city budget, but also cooperated with collaborators," she said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Wednesday (8/7).

Meanwhile, HIPPINDO Chief, Budihardjo Iduansjah, delivered his grateful for cooperating with Jakarta Provincial Government in providing JITEX 2024.

"Thanks to Jakarta Provincial Government, as well as Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, for involving us in providing JITEX 2024," he stated.

Moreover, Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprise Ministry's Acting Deputy of Small Medium Enterprise, Temmy Satya Permana, also supported the JITEX 2024.

"We appreciate this event since it's government's way to advance MSME to global market. We have good products from our MSME, and that is why we have to support them," he said.

JITEX 2024 is held five days from Wednesday (8/7) up to Sunday (8/11), at Cendrawasih Hall, Jakarta Convention Center. The event is participated by 248 booths from various sectors such as fashion, food and beverage, home living, art, manufacture, automotive, gift, Jakarta BUMD, and many more.

This international-scale event has already attracted buyers from Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, India, Thailand, China, and Turkey. There are also local buyers from Manado, Medan, Papua, and Jabodetabek.
