Free Indonesian Flag Distributed to Tugu Selatan Urban Village

The Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta, distributed free Indonesian flags to residents for commemorating the 79th Indonesian Independence Day. The distribution was held on Jalan Bendungan Melayu Utara, RW 01.

Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Sukarmin, said his side cooperated with Satpol PP, FKDM, PPSU, Army/Police, and local environment administrator for flags distribution.

According to him, the distribution has been running since August 4, 2024. There were 500 flags distributed to residents.
His side also invited residents to decorate their environment related to Indonesian Independence Day and hold several competitions.
"We have decorated our urban village office and residents also decorate their environment," he added.
Meanwhile, one of RT 06/01 Tugu Selatan Urban Village residents, Haura (22), admitted happy to get free Indonesian flag.
"I already raise the flag at home. I appreciated urban village's effort for distributing free flags here," she admitted.
