Acting Education Agency Head Distributes Assistance for Manggarai Fire Survivor Student

Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin, distributed school kits assistance for survivors of fire in Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta.

At the same moment, Budi also distributed cake and chocolate, as well as gave motivation for fire survivor resident.

"We also ensure that the government is here to help the people. May all be given strength and patience through this disaster, be sure that many will help," he said, Wednesday (8/14).

Budi added that the fire survivor students are able to continue their learning activity via online.

"It includes the students of SDN Manggarai 05 since the school is used as refugee camp," he added.

Education Agency, he continued, also gives trauma healing through the teachers.

"There are 365 students of fire survivor here," he continued.

His side has cooperated with related units such as Baznas Bazis or private companies through their CSR to distribute school kits and learning activity equipment.

"We have cooperated with 57 headmasters in Jakarta to actively tale part in reissuing the burnt school certificate. It must be easy and free," he said.

Meanwhile, SDN Manggarai 05 Headmaster, Lusiana Maydona, admitted happy to take part in assisting the survivors.

"There are three tents from Social Agency and Jakarta BPBD here," she admitted.

According to her, classrooms on the second floor are used for trauma healing class for fire survivor students.
