East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency revitalizes sidewalk along 540 meter on Jalan H. Bokir, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati. The arrangement is started July 17 and targeted to complete in November.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Benhard Hutajulu, said the arrangement is run to respond residents' request through Musrenbang.

The sidewalk is not comfortable to be used by pedestrian due to its wavy surfaces, damage, and potholes.

"We design this sidewalk to be comfortable for pedestrians and people with disabilities," he said.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Sidewalk Section Head, Akli Naim, stated his side installing yellow guide tiles and bollards at each end of the sidewalk to prevent motorbikes or carts from passing.

The project, he added, is run by third party.

"The work is still in excavation stage. It is targeted to complete in November," he stated.
